Company History
Optionsnet was founded at 2000 by a team of Patras' University postgraduate Computer Engineers.
Major milestones of the company's growth are summarize below:

Collaboration with the Institute of Bio-Medical Technology of Patras (INBIT)
The company in collaboration with the Institute of Bio-Medical Technology of Patras (INBIT) develops a Bio-Medical Technology Management System (BIT), and acquired significant expertise in an emerging industry,
- 2004
Ministry of Environment.
In 2004, company executives are involved in the project team that developed the information system of expropriation of the Ministry of Environment,
- 2006
Government and public bodies' projects
OPTIONSNET undertakes, as a main contractor, a series of individual government and public bodies' projects. Indicative projects are:e-Democracy Portal,Portal & Multimedia Application Development" for the Prefecture of Achaia, "E-evaluation" for the Greek Open University, formation System of the Department of Expropriation (D12)

OPTIONSNET participates as a technological business partner to the R&D Project CBIR-4CAD, funded by the Greek General Secretariat for Research and Technology, as a part of the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013 Programme which is co-funded by Greece and the European Union
